Here is your chance to star in a movie, as auditions are set to be held in Somerville on the 25th, 26th, and 27th of June. It is a zombie action-horror short film, and shooting is scheduled to begin from August 24th 2016 and will last till September 6th in Somerville and Boston.

The plot of the film
Blood Highway is going to be a 16mm zombie action-horror short film, which will be based on a pair of rough biker siblings, Leon and Ashley. They will be all out to take revenge from a mild-mannered person, Richardson, after a deal they had been working on takes a turn for the worse. However, they quickly discovered that Richardson isn’t as mild-mannered as he portrays himself to be and is actually keeping a terrifying and grisly secret that is locked up in his home.
The characters:
Auditions are being held for the following characters in Blood Highway.
Leon:
Male, African American, 25–30.
He is a badass biker who is a hardened criminal and a gang leader as well. Actors who want to play the role of Leon need to be of African American ethnicity and preferably be comfortable in carrying out a role of a badass gang leader.
Richardson:
Male, Caucasian, 40–60.
He is an obese subordinate who has a mild demeanor that belies his cold, calculated, killer instinct. Actors who want to play the role of Richardson need to carry of a complex range of emotions, since he has to hide his true identity.
Esperanza:
Female, Latino, 20–25.
She is a pretty lady, who has been held hostage by Richardson. Actors who want to play the role of Esperanza have to be of Latino ethnicity to carry off the role perfectly.
Limpy:
Male, Caucasian, 50+.
He is an older, taller, and skinny man, who is actually one of the henchmen working for Richardson. Actors, who want to audition for this role, need to fit the description of the character.
Adonis:
Male, Caucasian, 20–35.
He is a brawny, super-muscular, mute idiot, similar to Hodor from Game of Thrones. He is also another one of Richardson’s henchmen and actors, who want to audition for the role, need to be comfortable in playing a mute idiot.
Nadia:
Female, 11–14.
She is a middle-aged school girl, who is spoiled, and is best friends with Marcie. She lives next door to the serial killer Richardson. Actors, who want to audition for the role, need to be comfortable in playing a young school girl.
Marcie:
Female, 11–14.
She is a middle-aged school girl who is sheltered and is best friends with Nadia. Actors who want to audition for this role must meet the requirements of the character.
