SYNOPSIS: Oscar, (17) a disaffected youth in and out of trouble with the law, is sentenced to community service for vandalizing public property. Forced to serve at an old folks home, he encounters Isabel (84) languishing away in the early stages of dementia. When Isabel discovers Oscar spray-painting the walls of the old folks home, she convinces him to take her out tagging. The two form an unlikely friendship, and as their adventures escalate Isabel’s dementia causes a rift between the two. As a result, Oscar is forced to confront his isolated way of life and how much he has grown to need Isabel. The role that is needed is that of Isabel’s neighbors and friends in the senior home.
Actors should note that there is an AFI SAG Agreement, and this is an excellent opportunity to network with up and coming directors, producers, writers, etc.
