The producers of WGN’s Outsiders are currently preparing to film a fight club scene in Pittsburgh. The casting directors of Outsiders are looking for a number of extras to work in the featured, non-speaking roles. They require men and women to work in the upcoming episode. The directors have mentioned that they require only locals of Pittsburgh. They will not hire residents of other areas. Therefore, apply only if you are a local with your own transport.
Synopsis
Peter Mattei, the award-winning playwright has conceived and compiled the series, Outsiders. Produced by Sony Pictures, Mattei, Michael Wimer, Paul Giamatti, Peter Tolan, and Tribune Studios, Outsiders is filmed in Pennsylvania, but it depicts the scenes of Kentucky.
The story focuses on the Farrell’s family. This family is living in the mountains of Kentucky since a long time. Their generations have not adopted the industrial and technological revolutions and therefore, they are living in the agricultural era. They live on livestock and plantation. Now recently, the modern world has approached these mountains. These land encroachers want to occupy the land and excavate the territory. Farrell’s, living on the mountains since 200 years, are not willing to leave the mountains. The land encroachers send them threats and signs to leave the mountains. But Farrell’s stand by their stance and strive hard to protect the land with their limited resources.
Details and Requirements
The directors of Outsiders are looking for non-union actors to work in the upcoming episode. They are looking for Pittsburgh locals only but they may hire people from the surrounding areas if they can provide a proof of their transportation.
The candidates require actors for the following roles.
Couple
A man and woman, 55 years or above are required to act in a porch scene. The payment for this role is $150 per 12 working hours. The candidates are required to work on October 3.
Customers
The directors require Laundromat Customers. Anyone, from any ethnicity will be accepted for this role. The required age is 18+. The actors will work on October 3.
Stewart Grimes
The required gender for this role is male. Caucasian male with light brown hair or blonde hair is required. The age should be between 30s and 40s. The actor will work on September 21. Please apply only if you are available on September 21st and you have not worked in this season before.
Hotel Staff
Female actors between 30s and 60s are needed to work as Hotel Staff. The actors should be expert in expressing reactions on a tragedy. Please apply only if you are available to work on September 22 and if you have not worked on this season before.
Hotel Manager
Male or female candidate between 30s and 60s is needed to work as hotel manager. The actor should be available to work on September 22. Please apply only if you have not worked in the season before.
