If you are good with music instruments and are not shy to exhibit your talent to the world, don’t miss the chance to audition for ‘Troubadour’, a production of the Alliance Theatre, on July 11th, 2016.
Alliance Theatre is opening auditions for performers to star in its upcoming production with original music. Troubadour is written by Janece Shaffer, while music is written and composed by Kristen Bush, and directed by Susan v. Booth.
The auditions are scheduled to be on 11th July at 9 a.m. in the morning at Woodruffs Arts Center in Atlanta. The casting department is looking to audition people who have a strong sense of music with hands on proficiency on playing guitar (you are required to bring your own guitar). Rehearsals for the show will begin mid-December (the show runs from mid January to mid February).
Please refrain from applying if you are not available on rehearsal and shooting days.
The following are character descriptions:
JOE: Should be in his 20’s. (Guitar player)
A handsome guy and son of an influential man, Joe has played as a backup singer for his father throughout his life. His future looks uncertain.
INEZ: Should be in her 20’s. (Guitar player)
She is a sweet girl who is a song writer and singer. Belongs to a small town in Alabama.
POOCH: Should be around 50’s in age (Singer and guitar player)
A good humored guy with vast knowledge of country music, POOCH is a famous radio personality who can look out for himself.
BILLY: Should be in his mid 50’s (Guitar player)
He is the king of country music, Bill loves to command on people/crowd and be the centre of attention.
