The famous American commercial broadcast TV network has decided to remake “MacGyver”, and is now in production. The filming will take place in the Central Atlanta area, and the casting directors are looking for locals who can perform some paid background roles.
About the Show
The casting directors are reimagining the famous classic series, MacGyver, which was an action-packed, adventure drama series. The show is about Angus “Mac” MacGyver, a 20-something guy who establishes a clandestine organization within the United States government. He has the extraordinary ability of solving unconventional problems, which he does by using his vast scientific knowledge, and helps the government solve cases and save lives.
MacGyver lives with an ambitious roommate, Wilt Bozer, who keeps him entertained. On the orders of the Department of External Services, MacGyver and his team goes on dangerous, high-profile missions around the world and work together to get out of sticky situations and stop the organizations working shadows in their tracks.
The role of MacGyver is being performed by Lucas Till. The roles of Jack Dalton and Patricia Thornton are being performed by CSI’s George Eads and Sandrine Holt respectively. Justin Hires and Tristin Mays are also in the cast.
Casting Call Details
Some positions need to be filled for the next episode of MacGyver. Carefully read the descriptions of each role and apply for the one you fit the best. The following are the details of the roles that the casting directors are looking actors for:
- German Commuters – Caucasians of all ages are required to play of German Commuters. Male and females actors can apply for this category. The only requirement is that they should look like German Commuters. The filming of the scene will take place in Berlin.
- American Militia Separatists – The main requirement of this category is fit and strong men. No specific ethnicity is required, so actors from all ethnicity can apply. The waist should be 30-36 and height should be 5’10″-6’1″. The applicant must have a touch ex-military look.
- Japanese Board Members – Asian men and women who can play executive type roles and must be comfortable in acting in upscale business wardrobe.
- Moroccan Pedestrians – Moroccan looking actors including French, Israeli, and Arab looking women and men.
Apart from these roles, the casting directors want to feature German-made cars in the upcoming episode. People who have cars such as Porsche, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, and BMW’s in good condition should send the pictures of their cars. Note that the cars should NOT be of red or white color.
