We are an experienced team of AFI students shooting a short dark comedy. We’re looking for motivated individuals interested in gaining experience working on a professionally run set and in building working relationships with our team.
Synopsis:
“Jeffrey Callahan’s Last Stand” is a dark comedy about a former HR manager at the FBI who tries to sell “intelligence” to a Russian diplomat and ends up accidentally killing a court process server who he thought was a CIA hit man sent to kill him, but was actually just delivering him a message that his wife has filed for divorce. It’s a cross between “Burn After Reading” and “American Beauty.”
The Party Scene involves our lead actor, a middle-aged washout, partying with a bunch of kids, doing a kegstand, smoking up, playing beer-pong, dancing with a hipster girl, and generally having the time of his freaking life!
(N.B. There will be no actual alcohol on set at any time.)
Come and be a part of our film! Those who do will get to have:
-Full Craft Services Table
-Hot Meal half way through the night
-A chance to win one of two i-tunes gift cards
-A DVD copy of the film

-The chance to network with other actors and filmmakers
-A generally awesome experience on set!
