Feature Film “Melissa” Casting in Miami and Los Angeles

The casting team for a big budget movie is looking for actors in Miami and Los Angeles.  They need extras to portray various characters in a high school scene and during a beach party.  It film will begin filming new scenes on February 21st and then shift to Miami for other scenes in March.


The film is titled, Melissa, and it is about cyber-bullying and the effects it has on individuals and their families.  In October 2016, a new study was released stating that 25% of teenagers report that they have experienced bullying by their cell phone or on the internet.  52% of young people report being cyber bullied at one point in their lives.

It is a horrible problem that plagues millions of people all over the world.  This movie sets to put these facts in perspective from a personal standpoint, making you feel the effects it might have on someone.  The purpose of the movie is to show that bullying in any form should never be laughed at, accepted, or condoned.  It is a huge problem and it is our job to stop it.


This is a huge chance to become a lead actor in what will surely be a memorable film filled with great life lessons.  The main characters have been filled, but the casting team needs several featured supporting actors that will play the main character’s close friends and family.  This is a great opportunity to act in a featured film with an inspiring message.  Not only is cyber bullying a huge problem in our world, it is also often swept under the rug and labeled a non-problem.  This movie sets out to make people realize how cyber-bullying effects people and why it should be focused on and stopped immediately.
