Feature Film Titled “Fam-i-Ly” Casting in Chicago

Casting directors need all types of actors for a new film starring Taylor Schilling.  She is mostly known for her role as Piper Kerman in the hit show Orange is the New Black.  The casting teams need people to play hipsters at a music festival.


Not many plot details have been revealed about the movie, but we do know that it is a comedy about a girl named Taylor that aspires to be a Juggalo.  The title is, Fam-i-ly and it will take place mostly in Atlanta but it is currently casting and filming a particular scene in Chicago.

Taylor Schilling is a 32 year actress from Boston, Massachusetts.  She was always a lover of film and performing, but she didn’t make her feature film debut until 2007 in the indie Dark Matter.  Her biggest role after that came in 2012 when she co-starred with Zac Efron in the romantic drama The Lucky One.

2013 was her career breakthrough when she earned the main role as Piper in Orange is the New Black.  She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in Television and an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series in 2014 for her role as Piper.


Audition Date: February 12th 2017

Film Date: March 4th 2017 and March 6th – 8th
