ok so whenever i meet new people they ask me if i am a model
i say no
they ask me how old i am
i tell them fourteen
they find it hard to believe and think that i am lying to them
they all have said things like you look like you’re 18 or 19 ears old!
and they tell me that i am gorgeous
i dont believe them :[
but i want to start believing them by maybe actually modeling
but i don’t know how to get started
in other words WHERE CAN I GO TO BE A MODEL??

You DO NOT need to go to modeling school to become a model. I worked for a top NY agency and not one model on our books ever went to modeling school. In fact, if anyone said they went to modeling school they were immediately rejected because the agents thought they had learned too many bad habits in modeling school.
If you are at least 5′7″ you either attend open calls or send in pictures to these agencies – the top ones in the country http://models.com/agencies/top/ The individual agency websites will have information on what type of pictures you need to submit along with what other information they require. If they like your look, they will call you and ask you to come in so they can watch you walk, take your measurements, and take some Polaroids. If you get past that, they will then invite you in for a test shoot (at no cost to you) before they decide whether or not to sign you.
If you lack confidence and a sense of self don’t try to enter the modeling world. The modeling world will eat you alive. You will always be told that something is wrong with you or that you need to fix something. Just let people tell you that you are beautiful and enjoy it. But, don’t start modeling if you don’t have your sense of self fully formed. And how could you possibly at 14?
If you want to be a model you need to get an agent.
The way to do this is not to go to modeling school, they are just money making schemes.
You don’t say where you live, but if you want to be a decent model you need to go to London or NY or another major city.

As you are only 14 you have plenty of time so do your research thoroughly.
just because someone tells you that you look like a model doesn’t mean that you have to go be a model.
modeling is one of those things that you have to really want with all your heart in order to be successful in it.
so if you’re not really sure about this then don’t do it.

I agree with the above said, if you really want a serious reply we need pictures. Also, I think more than likely if you look decent you could model, just find a place nearby. You may have to pay for classes it’s not like you just come into work one day as a model.
Find a modeling agency. You can try Elite or Ford! They’re pretty big but they’re only located in big cities such as Chicago, New York City or LA!
sadly people can not see your model bod until age 18 but you can model useing your feet and legs for clothing lines.
I bet it’s guys talking, and they just do it because they want something (ahem) from you.

No. This posts are all incorrect. You DO NOT start off by getting pictures done first; thats false. You start off by attending a modeling SCHOOL before you contact a modeling agency. Modeling schools teach you what you need to know for jobs, shows, ect. Then, you get photos done professionally. You make your resume, attach it to the back of the photo, and then give one to your modeling school, and THEY send them to jobs that companys need models for.
