Melissa McCarthy is an American actress, comedian, writer, designer, and producer. She has appeared in several different movies since 1998 including the recent reboot of Ghostbusters.  She is known for her obscure humor and comedic acting as a featured actress and supporting actress.  Her career started with stand-up comedy, but she eventually realized that she had a deep love for acting and performing with a script.  Her new movie, Life of the Party will feature her along with several well-known actors.
