We have been shooting a short film about a Japanese baseball player in the US. We need to do a small pick up shoot of baseball stuff in mid to late November, possibly on Saturday. When an ex-Japanese relief pitcher in an independent league hears that his father died, he knows he is going go retire and go home. Despite his hope to play just one more inning and go out a winner, because of his bad shoulder, manager doesn’t let him pitch in a tight game. But when all the team pitchers were used, he gets his chance to play one last time and go out a hero.
