Latest Tips for Modern Actors

In our modern technologically advanced world, there are new jobs available in the acting industry that weren’t there for previous generations.  Netflix alone employs thousands of actors, producers, and writers every month.  Streaming services along with advancements in the internet allows aspiring actors unique ways to get involved.  Did you know that many websites seek actors for voice overs, promos, and modeling?  These type of jobs are often overlooked, but if you keep an open mind, you will eventually find your knack.

Paul Dano’s “Wildlife” Open Casting Call

The casting team is casting background extras to work on a new film starring Jake Gyllenhaal. The movie titled, Wildlife, is set in the 1960’s based on a novel written by Richard Ford in 1990.  The film is about a teenage boy that witnesses the destruction of his parents’ marriage after their move to a new state.  It is a film about acceptance, struggle, change, and perseverance from the perspective of a teenager.


Wildlife stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Carey Mulligan.  It is the directorial debut of the award winning actor, Paul Dano.  Dano has performed in critically acclaimed movies like, Little Miss Sunshine and the Oscar-winning There Will Be Blood.  He is known for his versatility and ability to perform in unique and riveting roles.  In There Will Be Blood he played two characters; twins by the name of Eli and Paul Sunday.

New Al Pacino Movie Casting Extras

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work as background actors in an Al Pacino feature film. Filming will take place in Atlanta, Georgia. The directors need extras to play police officers and detectives.  Some of these roles will be featured roles.


Pacino’s new movie is about a lawyer that takes on the biggest case of his life.  It is a murder case against an executive of a nationwide pharmaceutical company.  The movie features Al Pacino, Anthony Hopkins, Julia Stiles, and Byung-hun Lee.  Pacino is known for his incredible acting over a long career, so critics and fans are very excited to see him back playing a gritty role.

Casting Calls for MacGyver Looking For Hispanic Men and Women

About the Show

The 90s hit series is now back again as a remake. The famous super genius MacGyver with his limited resources is back to save the world. The MacGyver story is about a young guy in his early 20s who somehow creates a secretive organization within the US government, and uses his many skills and scientific knowledge to overcome big problems regarding life and death situations of real people.

MacGyver’s job is to go on mission where he gets to travel the globe along with his partner who is a former CIA agent, Hack Dalton. MacGyver is ready to save the world and everyone he knows with just a few small things that he finds in wallet or pocket, like a pack of gum and paper clips. The casting company for the TV series is now looking for Hispanic men and women who are interested in being a part of this new remake of the 90s hit series.

Casting and Roles

The casting directors of the show are now looking for Hispanic men and women who are currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia. The dates on which the filming will take place will be on the 29th of July, 1st of August, 3rd of August and 4th of August. Here are some of the roles they are looking for.


Latino Cartel: Male actors are required for this role. The men must be Hispanic. They should be between the ages of 20 to 45 years old. The actors will have to portray characters that will be in the Cartel in a barrio type scene.

The actors can shave their heads, or they can have long and messy hair too. If actors have any facial hair and tattoos, those will also be considered for the role. The actors will need to look cruel, rough, tough and running with the wrong crowd. They need to look like bad guys. The actor must be available to work full day on Thursday 4th of August 2016.

Latino Military Guards: Male actors are required for this role. The men must be Hispanic. They should be between 20 to 45 years old.  The actors need to be fit. The actors need to have short hair or a shaved heard. The actor must be available to work two full days on Friday 29th of July and Monday 1st of August 2016.

Beaten Cars, Trucks and Mopeds: Male and female actors are required for this role who will be able to bring their own downscale cars, trucks and mopeds. The vehicles should be very old models and should have some kind of visible damage so that they look beaten up and in bad shape.

Latin Flea Market: Male and female actors are required for this role. All ages will be encouraged to apple. All shapes and sizes are also welcome to apply. The actors must be available to work a full day on the 3rd of August 2016.

All actors will be paid $68 for every 8 hours with extra if it goes over time. If you bring your own beaten up car, truck or moped, you will get paid an extra $25. The shooting with take place in Atlanta, Georgia, if you are willing to apple you and think you are suitable to fit the roles given above, you can submit your details at: macatl@centralcasting.com.
