There is one glaring thing missing from this summer’s first major blockbuster; Captain America: Civil War. For a comic book movie that seems to do everything right they seem to have done it with out their big green hero and the demigod with long flowing locks. Marvel Studios has announced the third installment of the Thor standalone movies; ‘Thor: Ragnarok.’ Both Mark Ruffalo and Chris Hemswoth will be reprising their roles as The Hulk and Thor respectively. Ruffolo was recently interviewed Entertainment News was asked about the upcoming film:
“It’s an intergalactic buddy road movie with Banner and Thor,” Ruffalo told Entertainment Tonight at a press junket for his latest movie, Now You See Me 2.
Ruffolo would also go on to say that we would see “a lot more Hulk” in the upcoming film. Which is great news seeing how we really haven’t seen a lot of Ruffolo’s Hulk. Sure there is a little back story with the Hulk with the previous movie with Edward Norton but all this has been kind of ignored with the new Hulk. So lets all hope that Marvel will shed a little more light on Bruce Banner and The Hulk. The studio has also confirmed the return of Anthony Hopkins as Odin and Tom Hiddleston as Loki. the film has also cast Cate Blanchett as the villain Hela, who is the Asgardian of death based on the Norse goddess of the same name. Karl Urban has also been announced to be be a part of the production playing the part of Skurge: The Executioner.
